Let Me nurture you in this silence we share.

A good question to ask the self every so often is: ‘Am I in Service?’ And for the simplicity of the statement, we capitalize the ‘S.’

‘Am I in Service?’

‘Am I in Service?’ means, ‘Am I in Service to the Divine? Am I in Service to the Divine Self?’

It’s a very good question to ask, maybe when we wake up in the morning, and maybe once or twice throughout the day.

When we are in Service to the Divine, it is then that the Divine is in service to us. Another way of saying this is, when we are serving the Self, we are serving the self.

So when we ask this question, ‘Am I in Service?’ very gently an answer can come, ‘Yes, yes. I am.’ And it feels good.

Or the answer may be, ‘No.’ Then it is time to refine the activity.

It’s very simple to live this way. ‘Am I Serving my Self?’ It’s a very beautiful way to usher the Divine into our life.

Just checking in every so often so we can see when we are lost in thought patterns that are not serving us. And just checking in, ‘Am I in Service?’ does indeed realign the self.

If the answer comes ‘No,’ it obviously doesn’t serve us to strain. The Self is so powerful that simply the understanding that we may not be in highest service is enough. It gives the self permission to move back into that state of highest service.

And always our motivation is very selfish. Because when you serve Me, you are serving yourself. And when you are serving yourself, you are serving Me.

This is what happens when we start to see that, fully undressed, there is no difference between you and Me. There is only Me. Or if you would prefer, there is only you!

Doing something you love allows Me to love you through your activity. And doing something you do not love is an opportunity to change the activity. Love understands what deep fulfillment is.

So every day we take this time to bow in gratitude to the Divine Self. And then I bow down to you. It’s just a very perfect relationship. We give permission to the Divine to run the show, and the physiology rejoices.
